Day of Russia in Alicante Folklore Festival held in Spain

Forty-seven groups took part in the 13th International Folklore Festival of Russian Culture, which took place in Alicante on October 3 in an online format. The festival has been organized since 2008, it is considered the largest folklore festival in Spain, according to the Russian House in Alicante. 

The festival is traditionally held with the support of the Russian Embassy in Spain, the Moscow government, the Russkiy Mir Foundation, as well as local authorities. The participants of the festival sent to the organizing committee videos of their creative performances, which were evaluated by the jury to determine the winner of the Grand Prix and laureates. The festival was broadcasted on the Russian House in Alicante YouTube channel.

The jury of the competition was headed by an outstanding actor, People's Artist of Russia Alexander Mikhailov. The jury also included singers, artists and representatives of organizations of Russian compatriots from Russia, Spain and other countries.
