An objective and impartial investigation of the plane crash of the Malaysian Boeing, which occurred over Donbass six years ago, was demanded by the participants of the action, which took place the day before, on August 30, in the Hague. Its participants gathered in one of the central city squares, TASS reports. They were handing out to passersby a special issue of De Andere Krant devoted to the tragedy.

According to one of the organizers of the action, Dmitry Pisarev, the investigation of the tragedy continued for a long time, and as a result it is difficult to agree with his conclusions. He recalled that during the investigation they refused to consider many evidences and to interview a number of witnesses.

Experienced independent journalists talk about the flaws of the investigation, Dmitry Pisarev added. Unfortunately, he added, many people in the Netherlands no longer remember this story and do not even understand what they are being told. People are not interested in the tragedy that used to be on everyone's lips.

If this is not changed, the investigation will hide all ends in the water, and the truth will no longer be found, activists are convinced.

Hearings in MH17 will resume on August, 31. The plane flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed near Donetsk on July 17, 2014. All 298 people on board died. Russian specialists initially suggested working together, but were removed from the investigation. Meanwhile, Moscow is ready to recognize the results of the investigation only if it takes full part in it.
