The Man in Translation exhibition, which worked in Moscow's Izmailovo gallery, has completed its work. The exposition consisted of almost 180 works created by more than 50 young artists from Russia and Poland. It was included in the additional program of the Wisla Festival of Polish Films in Russia. The exhibition was held with the assistance of the Russian-Polish Center for Dialogue and Accord Foundation.
Poems by Polish and Russian poets became a source of inspiration for the artists. The curator of the project, Anastasia Kamenskaya, believes that it is very important that young artists can establish contacts, because each of them can learn a lot from others.
The gallery noted that the exposition was the first exhibition after the lifting of restrictions aimed at combating the spread of coronavirus infection. It is gratifying that the number of visitors turned out to be quite large. There is a chance that the exhibition will be helf in other Russian and Polish cities. An additional educational program is also planned - lectures, discussions, meetings with artists.
