Winners of Russia-related contest awarded in Lisbon

The winners of the My Russia - a Look from Portugal children's contest have been awarded in Lisbon. The competition was timed to coincide with the Russia Day. Participants submitted photographs taken during trips to Russia to the organizing committee. The competition was organized jointly with associations of compatriots, the Rossotrudnichestvo website reports.

The winners of the competition were Anastasia Kiseleva, who created a photo presentation about Kostroma, and Camila Simoes, who devoted her photo project to the village life of Tatarstan. According to Camila, she took photographs while relaxing with her grandmother, who lives in this Russian region. The winners were presented with large-format photographs of the submitted works and books about Russian folk traditions.

A photo contest was also held in the Russian Center in Krakow. The students provided photographs taken during trips to cities of Russia. Students talked about cities and attractions that left a bright mark in their memory.
