Students from 19 countries graduated from the Russian International Olympic University in Sochi. Famous athletes, current coaches, winners of the Olympic Games and other international tournaments, heads of large-scale cultural objects are among them, TASS reports.
Citizens of Europe, Asia and North America were trained under the Master of Sports Administration program. Due to the restrictions aimed at combating coronavirus infection, classes were partially conducted online. In total, more than 50 young specialists got their diplomas.
Becoming a graduate of such a prestigious educational institution is “a unique personal achievement,” says Sochi mayor Aleksey Kopaygorodsky. Olympic champions Svetlana Khorkina, Roman Vlasov and others sent their congratulations to the graduates.
The university has been preparing highly qualified personnel for the world sports industry, Olympic and Paralympic movement for more than ten years. This program is among the ten best in the world and takes the second position in Europe.
