Students of Russian language courses from France, Greece, India, Mongolia, Serbia and other countries recorded a video reading a poem in Russian. The project is timed to coincide with the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture, the Rossotrudnichestvo website reports.

The online project brought together people of different ages, who are studying the Russian language at Rossotrudnichestvo representative offices in different states. Participants in the action read the Learn Russian poem by the Uzbek poet Sabir Abdullah. The work describes the expressiveness and richness of the Russian language, and also mentions Russian writers Alexander Pushkin, Leo Tolstoy and Maxim Gorky.

The video is 1,5 minutes long, each participant pronounces one phrase from the poem. The first words are said by the choir students of Russian language courses in Mongolia, they are accompanied by a musician on a national string instrument. A participant from France recorded his line against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, while a student from Jordan donned a national costume.
