The popular Russian educational platform Uchi.ru has become second on the list of the most visited educational sites in the world. Such results were shown by the April rating of the SimilarWeb analytical platform, the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper reports.
It was the first time the Russian website was listed in the ranking. The American website Instructure.com, which helps adults gain new knowledge, became the first.

The Uchi.ru educational platform allows schoolchildren to study subjects in an interactive form, prepare for test work and final exams. In the context of the pandemic and the emergency transition of schools to distance education, Uchi.ru provided the access to education to more than 8 million students from 35,000 Russian schools.

The website also took 11th place among all categories of Russian sites, rising by 14 positions over the year. Yandex.ru, VK.ru and Google.com became the first in this category.

When compiling the rating, the average time spent by users on the site, traffic and other metrics were taken into account.
