Students of Vietnamese universities took part in the Russian language competition. It was held online for the first time in its history. The representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Hanoi organized the large-scale educational campaign, the agency’s website reports.

About a thousand and a half people joined the tournament of Russian language experts. Among them were university students from all over the country.

Participants demonstrated the ability to read, write and speak Russian during oral and written tasks.

Almost one hundred and twenty of them representing thirteen universities were selected for the next round. Their level of language proficiency was assessed by leading teachers of Russian and Vietnamese universities.

The winners of the competition will have the opportunity to continue their studies in Russia under the quotas provided to Vietnam by the Government of the Russian Federation.
