Russian Ministry of Culture, together with the culture.ru website, has presented thematic collections of films, books, concerts and lectures, which can to some extent compensate for the cancellation of theatrical productions and music events, as well as the closure of museums and libraries due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The total number of data posted online amounts to over six thousand files. The website contains classics of Russian and world cinema, video tours of leading museums in the country, classical music concerts, about a thousand performances, including archival recordings, electronic publications of Russian writers, and other content.

The best Soviet and Russian cartoons were posted for children. However, the ministry reminds, kids should not forget about their studies. The thematic rosters include materials from the school curriculum, including audio books, lectures on prominent writers, artists and composers.
