Federico Fellini exhibition takes place in Moscow

Residents and guests of the Russian capital are invited to "Federico Fellini: 100" exhibition, TASS reports. The exposition is located in the Museum of Cinema, operating at VDNH exhibition center, it is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the famous Italian director. The opening ceremony took place on March 12. The representative of the Italian Embassy, Guido de Sanctis, called Moscow "a very Fellinian city." He also expressed gratitude to the Russians, who sent words of support to the embassy in connection with the outbreak of coronavirus infection in Italy.

The diplomat thanked the organizers of the exhibition, including the niece of the director Francesca Fabbri Fellini, who was unable to come to Russia.

The exhibition in Moscow launched the international project dedicated to the great director. Throughout the year, the exposition will travel to different countries of Europe. Luigina Peddy, director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Moscow, promised that the project will take place in other cities in spite of the coronavirus epidemic.

St. Petersburg will become the next venue for the project, after that the exhibition will move to Berlin and Los Angeles.
