The works of young Russian artists are presented at an exhibition in Turin, TASS reports. The exposition entitled Images of Russia. The Picturesque tradition of the Glazunov Academy is located in the Pinacoteca Albertina of Academy of Fine Arts. It includes works by students and graduates of Ilya Glazunov Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. According to the artist himself, the exhibition is the result of the interaction between art universities.

Glazunov noted that the name of the exhibition is entirely consistent with its content. More than two dozen paintings of the exhibition are created in the classical tradition and dedicated to national history.

Unfortunately, the artist added, it is the classical school that is being lost today. This happens in Italy and in other European countries. But the Glazunov Academy, on the contrary, carefully preserves it.

The Academy in Turin is considered one of the largest centers of art education on the continent. The Glazunov Academy plans to broaden cooperation with the Italian counterpart by expanding student and teacher exchanges Exchanges of students and teachers will be expanded and introducing joint educational projects. 

The exhibition in Turin will last for two months, after that the works of Italian young artists will be brought to Moscow.
