Russia and China to hold Years of scientific and technical cooperation

2020 and 2021 will become the Years of cooperation between Russia and China in the field of science, technology and innovation, the Russian official internet portal of legal information states. President Vladimir Putin has signed the corresponding document.

The large-scale project aims to strengthen relations between the two countries.

The president ordered to create an organizing committee for the years of Russian-Chinese scientific, technical, and innovative cooperation. It will coordinate the activities of federal executive bodies and interested organizations. In addition, co-organizers from the Russian side will interact with the organizing committee of China to prepare and implement events for the Years.

The project will include more than 800 events of various subjects, including the promotion of Russian and Chinese.
