Sunday readings start in Bratislava

The Russian center of the European Foundation for Slavic Writing and Culture in Bratislava is launching a new project - Sunday Readings. The aim of the project is to introduce children and adults to Russian literature.

On November 17, 2019, the first lesson titled Reading Together was held as part of this project. The participants got acquainted with the activities of the Russian Center, the library fund and other opportunities for studying Russian culture.

The participants read and discussed Eugene Schwartz’s The Tale of Lost Time during an interactive lesson.

At the end of the lesson, the teachers discussed with parents the role of reading in the child’s learning, the speed of reading and understanding of texts, ways of intellectual development of bilingual children.
