The festival, considered one of the main circus forums in the world, brought together about two hundred artists from thirteen countries of Europe and America, the website of the Ministry of Culture of Russia reports.

The Russian State Circus presented three bright numbers from its programs at the festival, which deserved high marks from the jury. The main director of the Russian State Circus Georgy Eradze was invited to direct the festival.

In Italy, the festival is considered an important event in the cultural and social life of the country. Greetings to the participants of the festival program was made by Pope St. Francis in the Vatican.

The Russian State Circus won a high award in the anniversary year - in August, everyone involved in the Russian circus art celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Russian circus.

Note that in 1919, by the decree of Vladimir Lenin, the Soyuzgoskirc was established, which was later renamed Russian State Circus after more than 70 years.
