For the first time in 15 years, a song in Russian will be performed at the Eurovision song contest, REGNUM reports. It is planned that the text for a representative of Russia will be written by the poet Mikhail Gutseriev. He has already begun to work on poetry.

The next international song contest will be jubilee - the 65th in a row. The Netherlands got the right to organize it, since Duncan Lawrence, representing this country, became the winner of Eurovision-2019.

Note, the singer has performed the song Arcade and received 492 points. The second place was taken by Mahmood, a singer from Italy, with 465 points. The third place was taken by Russian artist Sergey Lazarev with Scream. He became the third according to the professional jury and the second according to the results of the audience’s vote, gaining 369 points.

At the same time, Sergey Lazarev suggested that the attitude towards Russian singers abroad was somewhat biased, which affected the voting results. At the same time, journalists and fans were very friendly towards him.
