Pushkin Museum Academy begins work on Monday, July 29, RBC agency reports.

Educational online platform was launched by the State Museum of Fine Arts named after Pushkin. Access to it is free for everyone who wants to improve their knowledge and begin to better understand the field of history and theory of art. They will get a unique opportunity to listen to lectures of the best specialists.

The educational project consists of three parts: Pushkin Intro, Pushkin Pro and Pushkin Kids.

The first program is created for those who do not possess profound knowledge in the history of world art. It was prepared by the museum staff as an introductory to the most outstanding exhibits from the museum funds. The section includes ten video lectures. The final part will be a test to check the knowledge gained during the course. A surprise is prepared for those who successfully pass the test.

The section will be updated with new lectures weekly until the end of August. They will remain free of charge till the end of September.

The second program is designed for more advanced users. The Pushkinsky Pro section includes lectures and discussions, speeches by the leaders of prominent world museums, interviews of Bernard Picasso and Joachim Pissarro, a story by André Marc Delocque-Fourcaud about the collection of his grandfather, the famous collector Sergey Schukin and much more.

Pushkin Kids, as the name suggests, invites the youngest visitors to the museum and their parents. Pupils of the children's center, which operates under the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, will tell them about the exhibits of the museum. Videos were created with the participation of Carousel and O! children's TV channels.

The project of the museum will be expanded with courses on the main periods of the world history of art, covering Ancient Egypt, antiquity, Renaissance, impressionism, modernism and other eras.
