From Hanoi to Moscow evening brought together experts in Russian in Vietnam

From Hanoi to Moscow creative evening, combining the reflection of the cultural traditions of Russia and Vietnam, was held in Hanoi as part of the Cross Year of Culture of Vietnam and Russia. According to the Dean of the Faculty of Russian Language and Russian Culture of the Institute of Foreign Languages at Hanoi State University Dinh Thi Thu Huyen, the organization of the evening and the professionalism of the participants reached a higher level, Nyanzan newspaperreported.

Russian Center, opened by Russkiy Mir Foundation, operates at the University of Hanoi. The evening was organized by the staff and students of the faculty of Russian language and Russian culture together with Russian Center of the International Institute at HSU and the representative office of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) at HSU. 

According to the organizers, the purpose of the evening is to promote the development of interest in the study of Russian language and culture of Russia, as well as a closer acquaintance of the two peoples. The creative programs were attended by students of Vietnamese universities studying Russian, and Russian students who study at universities in Hanoi. As a result, according to the organizers, it was possible through joint efforts to create Russian corner in the center of Vietnamese capital.

Representatives of HSU noted that the opening of the FEFU representative office in Hanoi will expand cooperation between Russia and Vietnam in the field of education, and will make it more realistic for Vietnamese schoolchildren and students to enter leading universities in Russia. Also, according to representatives of the leading university in Vietnam, the opening of the representative office will help the development of modern curricula, and will involve the exchange of experts in the most promising scientific fields.
