Russian students will have an opportunity to get an internship at a large digital company in China if they become winners or prize-winners of training camps in Beijing, which are held on the eve of the ICPC World Championship on sport programming. Russia is represented by students from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow State University and Saint Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, Vechernyaya Moskva reports.

About 150 students from all over the world will take part in Beijing camps. They will be trained in the framework of Moscow Workshops ICPC international educational project, organized by the winners and prize-winners of the programming championships. Leading Russian programmers will share their experience with young people within the frameworks of trainings. Lectures and trial online contests will be organized for students.

Alexey Maleev, Vice-Rector for International Programs and Technological Entrepreneurship at MIPT, founder of Moscow Workshops ICPC, called Russia and China world leaders in field of information technology and praised the level of programmers training and educational programs in both countries. According to Alexey Maleev, Russia and China have implemented over 900 joint educational projects. World championships in sports programming also prove the leadership of the two countries. Two Russian and one Chinese teams took the podium in 2018.

Russian programmers show high results not only in competitions, but also in the creation of innovative developments. Note that the mobile application based on the Gosuslugi portal and developed by programmers from Kursk was highly appreciated by experts at the international exhibition in Dubai.
