International Arctic School in Yakutia prepares for first enrolment

Mathematics, Russian and English exams will have to pass students of Sakha Republic schools aiming to enter International Arctic School that is to open in 2019. The IAS is to accept 220 sophomores. Local authorities are sure that IAS to be the first step in the international education in Yakutia, Ministry of Education and Science of Yakutia website reports. 

Directions of training and language politics in International Arctic School were discussed during the round table in Yakutsk. The local minister of Education Vladimir Egorov informed that international experience is considered during IAS project realization since it will help to integrate into international educational field. Degrees of the school will match federal as well as international baccalaureate standards. 
Teachers of 41 Sakha Republic schools go for a special trainings in Moscow, South Korea, Finlandia over the last two years.
