Rome hosts Cyril and Methodius Readings

pixabay.comThe Cyril and Methodius Readings of Rome has started in Italy. The conference is conducted by the Institute for Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences with participation of the University o Florence. The representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Rome supports the scientific conference conducted for the 8th time already, according to the website of Rossotrudnichestvo. The first two days will be spent in Rome, and then the conference will be moved to Florence.

Teachers and students from different national higher educational institutions and scientific organizations will take part in the conference including Lomonosov Moscow State University, Kazan Federal University, Pushkin Russian Language Institute, St. Petersburg State Conservatory, specialists from the Institute for Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, The Russian Language Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Scientists from Italy, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Canada, Poland, France, France and Serbia are also taking part in the conference.

Several thematic plenary sessions will be organized at the conference. Apart from the scientific presentations, there will be various master-classes. Novelties of the scientific literature and new projects of the history of the Slavic studies will be presented at the event.

Such tours as Rome of Constantine and Methodius and Florence of St. Maximus the Greek will be organized at the conference.
