Russian Foreign Ministry warns Canada and USA against supply of weapons to Ukraine

15.12.2017

Russian Foreign Ministry’s press-service Russian Foreign Ministry has warned authorities of Canada and USA against negative aftermath of lethal weapons’ supply to Ukraine, IA Interfax reports.

Official spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova has underlined that supplies of modern weapons would urge official Kiev authorities who are infringing Minsk agreements to start new armed conflicts at southeastern Ukraine.

The diplomat has noted that Ottawa and Washington had to understand that the conflict in Donbass does not have a military solution and its resuming would lead to new victims and destructions. The Russian Foreign Ministry has pointed out that the responsibility for starting a new turn of the war conflict and death of people would be on hands of the murderers and suppliers of weapons.

Maria Zakharova has added that last briefings of the US State Department blame pro-Russian fighters for shootings, which proves Washington’s intention to find a pretext for supplies of different weapons to Ukraine.
