Moscow State University launches PhD Programs in China

International postgraduate programs have been launched by Moscow State University's Beijing Polytechnic Institute, Interfax reports. The university operates in Shenzhen, China. There are several areas of study available. Among them are ecology, biomechanics and bioengineering, Russian literature and literature of the peoples of the Russian Federation, optics, solid state chemistry, physical chemistry, differential equations and mathematical physics, and others.

Half of the postgraduate study period will take place in Shenzhen. For the duration of their stay in China, a graduate student will be paid a scholarship of up to 50,000 yuan per year, which covers the cost of education. Applications for postgraduate studies will be accepted until August, 22.

Moscow State University's Beijing Polytechnic Institute was founded five years ago. It unites the leading universities of the two countries. The institute was created on the basis of the leading universities of the two countries - Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Beijing Polytechnic Institute. Its opening became a major event in the educational sphere in Russia and China.

The parties agreed on holding the educational process in three languages - Russian, Chinese and English. The diplomas obtained will allow graduates to find jobs in both countries.
