In Russian. In the context of multilingualism International Congress opened in Berlin on Sunday, May 19. It is held with the assistance of the Russkiy Mir Foundation. Among its organizers are the European Association VIA LIGHT in support of children's multilingualism, the Society of Russian-speaking parents and teachers in Berlin MITRA and the Russian Center of the Russkiy Mir Foundation in Berlin.

For the second time, the forum brings together leading scholars in the field of children's multilingualism, famous teachers and leaders of educational institutions, politicians and government representatives.

Participants will discuss the development of the Russian language in the context of children's multilingualism in the diaspora. Congress has already proved that it is an effective platform for discussing existing problems and promoting new areas of work with bilingual and multilingual children.

Among the main tasks of the forum is the exchange of experience and promising concepts for working with Russian-speaking families abroad. In addition, the Congress aims to consolidate the activities of organizations in foreign countries and in Russia to support the Russian language.

Presentations of projects on the organization of Russian language studies, in particular in the field of additional education and vacation, are scheduled during the congress.

Another goal of the forum is to achieve a synergistic effect in the activities of Russian centers and organizations of Russian compatriots with the institutional support of the Russian language among the younger generation. Participants will be introduced to the nuances of modern grant policies for international projects in support of children's bilingualism.
