Greece to extradite Russian citizen to US

pixabay.comGreek court satisfied the request of American authorities to extradite Russian citizen Alexander Vinnik to the US law enforcement bodies. The court session took place today, on October 4 in Thessaloniki, TASS reports.

Besides, the decision was made to give out all his electronic devices. Russian lawyer of Alexander Vinnik is going to enter an appeal.

It should be reminded that American authorities accuse Russian citizen of digital currency structuring. Alexander Vinnik is considered to be a managing director of BTC, one of the largest internet portals involved in cybercrimes.

He came to Greece for vacation where his telephone calls were detected by Californian police who got in touch with Greek police and Alexander Vinnik was arrested on August 25.
