Russian actress receives Seoul International Drama Award

kino-teatr.ruAnastasia Nikiforova has received TV Production prize at the 12th Seoul International Drama Awards, TASS reports.

Russian actress was awarded for her role in Anna Detective series based on the series of Detective episodes that take place in 19th century provincial Russian town. Anastasia Nikiforova has passed her colleagues from Lebanese, British, Israel, Australian, and South Korean TV.

This award was first presented eleven years ago. Today it is considered as one of the most prestigious TV awards in the world. This year more than 250 applications from 50 countries have arrived to the festival organization committee.

As the Anna Detective series General Producer Vlad Ryashin has noted, the Asia-Pacific Ocean region is very important for the cultural dialogue. Cooperation between Russian, Chinese and Japanese TV producers has been developing over last 10 years. For example, the rights for the screening of famous Russian War film The Dawns are Quiet Here were acquired by South Korea one year ago.
