Russian journalist kidnapped in Kiev

Flickr/ Serenity IbsenRussian journalist was kidnapped in Ukraine on August, 30. Anna Kurbatova arrived at Kiev on errand of Russian First TV Channel, TASS informs.

Last week the name of journalist together with her other personal data were published at Mirotvorets website. Kurbatova was accused by Ukrainian nationalists of “incorrect” description of the parade, which took place in Kiev at Independence Day. It was marked last weekend in Ukraine. Ukrainian soldiers together with representatives of US military divisions took part in the parade.

TV Channel has advised that twenty-nine year old Kurbatova was continuously threatened due to her assignments in Ukraine.

Russian Embassy in Kiev has requested data from Ukrainian law enforcement authorities regarding kidnapping of Anna Kurbatova. Besides, Embassy sent a note to Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. The authors of the document demanded to take urgent measures regarding this accident.
