Famous opera soloist Dmitry Hvorostovsky has made his first stage appearance in Toronto, Canada, after the long break. He was joined by friends and colleagues Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov.

Trio Magnifico concert received full attendance, and the singers were praised with a prolonged standing ovation. For an encore Hvorostovsky performed world-known Russian Gipsy romance Ochi Chernye.

For Netrebko and Eyvazov it was the first tour in Canada. Calgary is the next city awaiting for them.

Arias from Italian operas and Russian romances were in the program. At the end of the show Dmitry Hvorostovsky and Anna Netrebko performed the final scene from Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. According to Netrebko, the program was made in respect with the will of Hvorostovsky.

As we informed earlier, famous bariton had to suspend his performances after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2015.
