Russian students won 15 medals at European Geographical Olympiad

All participants of the European Geographical Olympiad from Russia won medals, the Russian Ministry of Education reports. The tournament was held for the 8th time in Serbia.

Russia presented teams in the senior and junior groups. In the first, participants aged 16 to 19 fought for victory, in the second - from 12 to 15 years.

Russians won three gold and bronze medals, and nine - silver ones.

Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov congratulated the children on their excellent results. In his opinion, this once again proves the high level of Russian education. The head of the department also praised the work of mentors and trainers who help children improve their skills and develop talents.
