Good Vision International Festival opens in St. Petersburg

Performers and creative teams from Russia and neighboring countries will become participants in the Good Vision International Folk Song Festival, which will be held in St. Petersburg from June, 9 to June, 11, the website of the Russian Ministry of Culture reports.

The festival, which has been held since 2016, will be the 8th, with cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova, People's Artist of the Soviet Union Iosif Kobzon and State Duma deputy Oleg Nilov at its origins. Dobrovision is gaining weight and importance in Russian society, contributing to the preservation of folk culture and the promotion of traditional values.

Over 10,000 performers from 60 Russian regions and 15 countries have participated in the past seven festivals. Their performances were watched by over 100,000 spectators.

This year, over 100 creative teams and performers from Russia, China, India, Moldova, Azerbaijan, and Belarus will come to various festival venues in St. Petersburg.
