Monuments to Soviet soldiers-liberators in Germany will be put in order by Victory Day, RIA Novosti reports. Anyone can join the campaign. According to Nikolai Fast, a German volunteer who is now in Donetsk, a similar event was launched in honor of the holiday last year as well.

An announcement was made on social networks, reminding local residents of the need to visit the memorials, clean them, and put the territory in order. If people cannot cope on their own, then volunteers will help them.

Previously, Fast said that he was worried about returning home to Germany. He is concerned about possible persecution by the German secret services because of his trips to the Donbass, where he delivers humanitarian aid.
