Seven countries to become guests of Moscow International Book Fair

Seven countries will become participants of the Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF). Among them are China, Germany, Kazakhstan, Iran, Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes.

Russian readers will get acquainted with the books published by China's largest state-owned publishing house, China Import and Export Publishing Corporation (CNPIEC). Its work began almost 75 years ago. Armenia will be represented by the National Library of Armenia, and Iran by the House of Books and Literature of Iran.

Books dedicated to architecture and design, Christian literature and children's coloring books will be brought by several German publishers.
 
Art publications for children and adults, popular science books, textbooks and other specialized literature will be presented by the Kazakh Foliant publishing house.

Kyrgyzstan in Moscow will be represented by the publishing house of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, and Belarus - by the Ministry of Information.

Russkiy Mir

As Russkiy Mir reported, last year more than three hundred events were included in the MIFF program. Within four days, creative meetings, presentations of book novelties, discussions, master classes, autograph sessions were held.
