Tickets to Golden Mask Festival sold out in Estonia

The ticket to the perfromances of the Golden Mask Theater Festival were completely sold out in Estonia, TASS reports. 

The program of the festival inclded more 20 performances.  The number of spectators exceeded 6,500 people.

The festival became one of the first projects of the Russian theater abroad after the pandemic.

The Golden Mask tour started in Estonia on October 5 in Tallinn. The Satyricon Theater brought the play "Jokers" by Yevgeny Marcelli to the Estonian capital. The performances by the Sovremennik Theater, Ballet Moscow,  the Theater of Nations, and the St. Petersburg puppet theater were also included in the program. 

The Golden Mask Festival has been brought to Estonia for more than 15 years. Traditionally, Russian theaters perform in Narva and Kohtla-Järve, where many Russian-speaking residents live.
