The Golden Mask Festival of Russian Theater resumes its international tours. Estonia, Latvia and Turkey will become its first destinations, TASS reports.

The Golden Mask Tour opens on Tuesday, October 5. The Satyricon and the Sovremennik theaters, the Theater of Nations went to Tallinn with the play, and the Ballet Moscow are bringing their productions to Tallinn. By tradition, Narva and Kohtla-Järve are going to become the next stops of the tour, since many Russian-speaking residents live there.

Two days later, the festival starts in Riga with about a dozen performances.

Within the framework of cooperation with the Istanbul International Theater Festival, the Turkish audience are going to see the performances "Boris" by Dmitry Krymov, "Children of the Sun" by Timofey Kulyabin and "Bear" by Vladimir Pankov.

The international program of the Golden Mask theater festival had to be postponed last year due to the pandemic.

The Golden Mask Festival has been conducting its programs abroad for over 15 years.
