Russians get awarded at circus festival in China

Russian circus performers have become the laureats of the International Festival of Circus Arts in China, TASS reports. The forum was held in Uchao (Hebei province, China). The festival has existed for more than 30 years.

The Wild World act by the animal tamer Lyudmila Surkova and the Ball on the Rope performance by Yuri Krasnov were awarded bronze medals.

The International Festival of Circus Art in Uchao is considered one of the most prestigious in the circus industry. Gymnasts, animal tamers, jugglers usually take part in it.

This year the show was held both online and offline: foreign participants sent videos of their performances. The "Golden Lion" - the main prize of the festival - were awarded to three contestants, the silver one - to five of them, the bronze award - to seven.
