Swiss designers win at flower festival in Moscow

40 landscape designers from 16 countries took part in the 9th Moscow Flower Show 2020 festival. Winners in several nominations were announced in Moscow, and designers from Switzerland won one of the most prestigious Big Garden categories, TASS reports.

The festival annually brings together the best garden designers of the world in the Russian capital, this year the competition was first held online. This made it possible to present a wide range of works from all over the world. Internet users rated participants and asked them questions.

Six specialists were awarded gold medals in the Big Garden nomination, the main prize went to Swiss Jonas Egger and the Greenhans GmbH company. The virtual format of the competition attracted the attention of nearly 80,000 spectators from around the world. The competition was attended by designers from Russia, Great Britain, Germany, USA, Canada, China, Iran and other countries.
