Third SCO Countries Students Forum held in Novosibirsk

The 3d Students Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries was held this weekend in Novosibirsk, according to the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper.

Young specialists from many regions of our country and other states were present at the forum. One of the central questions discussed by experts and students is building favorable atmosphere for students from abroad who are getting education in the Russian higher educational institutions.

There were many business, cultural and sports activities arranged within the forum.

A business game and a city tour were organized for students from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries. There were lessons on the languages of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization nations as well.

According to the Andrei Travnikov temporarily appointed as the Region’s Governor, more than 5000 foreign students study in the city universities at the moment, the majority of them comes from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries. He is sure that Novosibirsk must become a city where young people can get excellent education meeting the international standards and climb up the career ladder as well.
