Two post stamps were published in Cuba in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Great October Revolution. One of them depicts the monument to V. Lenin set on the hill with the same name in Havana, and the second one features a sculpture of Worker and Collective Farm Girl by Vera Mukhina.

It should be reminded that jubilee of the Revolution became the main topic of conference which took place in Havana. The forum was arranged in the main library of Cuba. The exhibition was opened to coincide with the jubilee. It is located in the Pushkin hall of the library inaugurated by the Russkiy Mir Foundation in 2010.

This is not the first event dedicated to year 1917 in Russia. A scientific conference on this topic was held at Higher Institute of International Relations, which is an analogue of Moscow State University of Foreign Affairs.
