On 21 December, Russian Center in Banja Luka hosted an exhibition of paintings “Familiar Faces. Images of Russian Literature” by Teodora Milicevic.

The author is a third year Russian philology student at Banja Luka University.

Milicevic was inspired by the Russian classic literature.

Guests learned about the author’s imaging of such famous figures as the Demon and the Angel from the Lermontov’s poem ‘The Demon”, Alyosha and Ivan Karamazov from “The Brothers Karamazov” by Dostoyevsky, Zemfira from the Pushkin’s poem “The Gypsies”, and many others.

The exhibition will be opened until late December.
