27.09.2016

The fourth year students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh, got the answer to the question at a thematic meeting held at the Russian Center under Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy on September 26.

A lot of things were discussed during the meeting, including the way Russian people have guests around, the dishes they offer to their guests, the way to say good bye to the guests, and specialties of Russian cuisine in comparison with Vietnamese cuisine among others.

The students presenting at the meeting listened to a story provided with a slide show told by the Director of the Russian Center with great interest. They also watched several presentations on the topic. At the end of the meeting, the students tried true Russian dark bread of which they had only heard during their Russian language classes. The participants of the event agreed on making popular Russian dishes and have a party where Russian songs are supposed to be sung at the next meeting hosted by the Russian Center.
