Rectors of Russian and Chinese higher educational institutions to meet in Moscow

Today, the Lomonosov Moscow State University hosts a forum that will gather the rectors of Russian and Chinese higher educational institutions, reports RIA «Novosti». About 400 people including representatives of the Ministry of Education of the P. R. China, Chinese diplomats and rectors of 90 Russian and 80 Chinese universities are supposed to be present at the meeting named “The Strategy for the Development of Russian-Chinese Scientific and Educational Cooperation”.

The forum program includes break-out and plenary sessions and signing of agreements on cooperation between the participants of the event is expected.

Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China Liu Yandong, director of the scientific-technical and innovation department of the Ministry of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov and the Rector of the MSU Victor Sadovnichy are to speak at the forum.
