Sofia gets ready for 5th Student Festival

The first meeting of the participants of the 5th European Student Festival “Friends, our union is wonderful!” took place at the Russian Center in Sofia on June 21, 2016. This year, the festival is dedicated to cinema and the participants will have a chance to see fine Russian films and to learn more about Russian film directors and actors.

The team of the Russian Center told the participants of the festival about its history and activities that make communication among peer interested in Russian art and culture possible.

The team of the participants includes representatives of four higher educational institutions found in Sofia. They are the University of Sofia (St. Kliment Ohridski), University of National and World Economy, the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies and the New Bulgarian University. The students had a look at the information available at the Russkiy Mir website, shared their ideas about the festival arrangement and discussed the activities they should carry out before it.

The first meeting ended with songs from popular Russian films.
