VI Republican Festival of Slavic Literature and Culture in Bishkek

Bishkek has hosted an awarding ceremony for the winners of the VI Republican Festival of Slavic Literature and Culture “The Land of Grand Relations” supported by the “Society of Kyrgyz Teachers of the Russian Language and Literature” and Kyrgyz affiliate of Rossotrudnichestvo. This year, the Festival was dedicated to the 195th birth anniversary of the great Russian poet Nikolay Nekrasov.

Eduard Krustalkin, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo affiliate in Kyrgyzstan, congratulated the winners on the closing of the Festival and on the Day of Russian Literature and Culture.

The winners from Bishkek, Narynskaya, Talasskaya, Jalal-Abadskaya and Chuyskaya regions recited Nekrasov’s poems. They received diplomas, letters of gratitude, prizes and books.
