26.05.2016

The Russian Center at the Pedagogical University of Kraków named after the Commission of National Education has hosted a meeting with future teachers who are extramural students at our university. They came to the center to learn about the Russian system of education. The director of the center Helena Ples gave a lecture. An associate professor of the philological department of the Saint Petersburg State University Inna Nikolaevna Erofeeva was present at the meeting as a guest. She told the students learning Russia as an additional subject about the Russian system of education, about some changes made to it over the last several years and about the whole educational process starting from preschool education and ending with higher education including its intermediate stages. Then Russian and Polish educational systems were compared and it turned out that they share some aspects having a lot of differences at the same time.

The students watched a presentation dealing with the Russian system of education and asked the lectures their questions. At the end of the meeting the students thanked Inna Nikolaevna for sharing interesting and useful information with them.
