The changes into educational programs and teaching methods of the subjects are supposed to be made, writes «Kommersant».

The procedure of upgrading courses is to be changed as well. A number of practical classes and model lessons using interactive study materials will increase. The new standards based on the concept of teaching the Russian language have been developed by specialists of the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.

Russian language and literature teachers working in Chechnya, Kabardino-Balkaria, Dagestan, Karachay-Cherkessia, Ingushetia and the Republic of Tuva are to have a Russian language test and show their capabilities in teaching it to school students.

According to Natalya Tretyak, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the RF, education process should become more individual and take each school student’s capabilities into account despite their Russian language level. She is concerned that children “have to possess a good command of spoken and written Russian and use them for communication easily”.
