At the moment, dwellers are keeping on arriving at their new home. Cyprinids, dolphins, white whales, sea bears and a walrus called Misha have already settled down there.

The Aquarium is split in three zones unique in their style and inhabitants. Almost all of the halls have interactive screen displays which will help the visitors to learn a lot of new facts about species of fish and animals living in the world's oceans and seas.

On the whole, the Aquarium is supposed to have about 500 species of fish. According to a representative of the Aquarium Elena Molchanova, some of them were brought there yet in 2012. For example, young fish of a fresh-water fish Kaluga available at the exposition “The River of Amur and Lake Hanka” have already grown up to two meters in their length. Penguins are bound to arrive and settle down at the halls called “Lake Baikal” and “The Polar World” soon. The exposition “Tropic seas” equipped with the biggest aquarium will have sharks and other species of big fish on display and visitors will be able to watch them using a special capsule with glass floor.

An exhibition dealing with sea micro world is to be arranged on the ground floor of the building. The interactive exposition will have an audience hall equipped with a laser microscope.

Besides educational programs available for visitors, the Aquarium is supposed to deal with scientific research and 6 laboratories have already been established there for that purpose.
