The International Festival of Russian-speaking Children's and Youth Theaters

American Association for Russian Culture and Education (AARCE) with the support of Russkiy Mir Foundation, Russian and US Embassies , Rossotrudnichestvo, and American Univerisity conduct The International Festival of Russian-speaking Children's and Youth Theaters.

The Festival will take place in Washington from 1 to 4th of June.

Young creative groups (ages between 5 to 21) from additional education schools come from USA and Canada to participate in the festival. 400 young people from 15 theater groups are expected.

The Festival program includes screenings of the following areas:

  • Dramatic performance

  • Musical performance (musical, opera, ballet)

  • Puppet Theatre


Nominations

  • GrandPrix

  • Best Director

  • Best Choreography

  • Best Music

  • Best Theater group

  • Best Acting: Principal male/female part, Support male/female part
