The State Duma has begun to consider in a first reading two rather important laws dedicated to the education system for the arts. This education system has traditionally been built on a three-step sequence – children’s art schools, arts colleges and academic-level art programs. The International Teachers Forum, which took place as a part of the IV Russkiy Mir Assembly, concluded on November 2, 2010. At the close of the forum the participants adopted a resolution.
