Book on contribution of Russian scientists to development of the country will be published in China

Authors from Russia and China are invited to join the work on the book entitled ''Russian Scientists in China: Past, Present and Future,''  the Coordinating Council of Compatriots in China reports. Applications will be accepted until September, 1.

It is planned that the book will tell about scientists, engineers, teachers and university graduates who have made a significant contribution to the development of scientific thought in both countries. The book is going to be published both in Chinese and in Russian.

The organizers are the Russian Club in Harbin, the Russian Research Center in Harbin with the support of the Coordinating Council, as well as the Primorsky Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, the Russian-Chinese Committee for Scientific and Technical Cooperation and Innovations of the Russian Academy of Transport.
