"Russia in Asia: in search of North Asia" сonference held in Seoul

On May 24, 2023, the Russian Center of Seoul National University hosted the "Russia in Asia: In Search of North Asia" conference, organized jointly with the Institute of Asian Studies.

About 50 people took part in the conference, mostly professors and graduate students whose scientific interests lie in the field of regional studies, international relations, ethnography and Russian history.

The conference participants covered such topics as: "Various discourses about Siberia at the end of the 19th century", "Shamanism as a passage between North Asia and Eurasia", "The concept of Megaasia and North Asia", "The Northern Route and the reorganization of logistics in North Asia".
