The provocation with the deployment of a wrecked Russian tank near the building of the Russian Embassy in Berlin was not supported by the Germans, the Russian diplomatic mission noted, and thanked everyone who brought flowers to the tank. These spontaneous actions of ordinary people made the tank a ''symbol of the fight against neo-Nazism in Ukraine,''  according to the telegram channel of the diplomatic mission.

The Russian tank was delviered to the embassy by Ukranian activists. Very soon, residents of Germany began to lay flowers at the tank, thousands of flowers were brought to the embassy. Several people called for peace talks to end the conflict in Ukraine.

Later, the vandals trampled and took away the flowers, and also fenced off the tank. However, people continued to carry bouquets throughout the day, throwing them over the fence to the tank.
